MONROE COUNCILOR LISA LINDNER RUNNING FOR RE-ELECTION
On August 27, 2024, Lisa Lindner officially announced her candidacy for re-election as City Councilor of Monroe, Oregon, in the upcoming November 5, 2024 General Election. A committed resident of Monroe for 6 years, Lindner has been a steadfast advocate for Monroe’s prosperity.
“I am seeking re-election because I am deeply invested in Monroe’s future,” stated Lindner. “I am dedicated to continuing to build a community where residents feel safe, businesses thrive, and families are proud to put down roots and make it a great place to live and work.”
Throughout her tenure as City Councilor, Lindner has focused on addressing critical priorities, including enhancing public safety, upgrading local infrastructure, maintaining sound fiscal management, and solid human resources standards and practices. She is committed to upholding a transparent and responsive local government that aligns with the needs of the community and ensures a high quality of life for all Monroe residents.
In addition to her role on the City Council, Lindner is Chair, Human Resources Committee; Chair, Ad Hoc Library Negotiations Committee; Member, Ad Hoc 1135 Grant Project Committee; Member, Ordinance Committee; Member, Monroe Budget Committee.
The upcoming election will also see three City Council seats up for contest, currently held by Lisa Lindner, Nicholas Ritch, and James Winther, who are all seeking re-election.
